I have been affiliated with District Twelve for the past ten years. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and Regis University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have also completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Leadership, and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado.
In addition to teaching, I am a mother of two teenage boys ages sixteen and seventeen. My oldest is entering his senior year of high school. (YIKES!!!) They both are avid golfers, powerhouse football players, and wacky wrestlers; they definitely keep me on my toes. My husband, Todd, is also a school teacher. He teaches American Studies Honors and Economics at Broomfield High School.
Parents, it is my belief that we are working together as a team in the education of your child. As teammates, we should both be fully aware of your child’s progress. During this school year, I will be sending work and assignments home. To ensure that our team continues to be winners, I ask that you stay actively involved. As you know, when numerous practices are skipped, then our team begins to struggle. This can result in some losses. Please feel free to comment on your child’s work or contact me anytime at school.
