Mr. Makan's Class
In the art room, students explore the visual world, are challenged to become problem solvers and critical thinkers, and learn to express their creativity. Students work both individually and collectively to develop these skills and discover how art can influence the world around us.

Materials
I'll make sure that activities are modified as needed so that students can complete their art with whatever supplies they have access to. With that said, below is a list of optional supplies that would be helpful for your student's art activities if you choose. I think the most important item is plain white paper, even if it's just plain drawing paper.
- Plain white paper
- Colored construction paper
- Pencils
- Crayons
- Colored pencils
- Markers
- Tempura paint
- Watercolor paint
- Paint brushes
- White glue
- Sketchbook
