May Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians -

As we race into the final month of the school year, we are taking time to celebrate our staff and also to thank our parent volunteers. Staff appreciation during the first week of May allows us to recognize every person who works at Coyote Ridge and to thank them for all they do for our students. It is the connections that staff members make with our students that holds them accountable for their academic progress while also supporting individual social/emotional growth during the year. We are fortunate to have an exceptional staff at Coyote Ridge Elementary who works hard and cares about each and every student that enters our school every day.

We also are grateful to the parents of our students who give so much of their time to support their children and to support other students at our school. We average over 20 volunteers visiting our school daily to provide support. This can be anything from making copies, to working with students in small groups, to venturing out with a class on a field trip. The fact is, much of our success as a school can be attributed to our parents who value education and hold students to high standards. Our parents also support teachers and administration when a child needs to have behavior expectations reinforced at home. This partnership ensures that every student knows that their school and home are on the same page and that we all want the very best for them.

So thanks to our teachers, support staff, para-professionals, office staff, health aide and BASE employees for their dedication and hard work and thanks to our parents for their support and commitment to our students and our amazing school.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mike
