Dear Coyote Ridge Community,
As the end of the school year approaches, I want to make you aware of our school’s end of year device collection process. We want to make sure that we have clean, working Chromebooks ready for students on the first day of school in August. To do this, we need to have these devices back over the summer so we can make necessary repairs and updates.
This means that students must return their Adams 12 Chromebooks and chargers before Summer Break. Your student(s) needs to bring all of their district-provided Chromebooks and chargers to school on May 25, 2021 to be checked in. Full time remote students must return devices to school on May 28, 2021 between 9:00-12:00.
If your student will need a Chromebook over the summer for district programming such as summer school, they will be provided a new one at that time. Chromebooks that are not returned may be disabled and will no longer be usable until they are returned to the district. If a Chromebook or charger isn’t returned, a fine equal to the replacement cost will be placed on your student’s account. These fines will be removed when the Chromebook and/or charger are returned.
If your student misses the deadline to return their Chromebook before the end of the school year, you can still bring it to the school until Friday, March 28. Adams 12 also has an alternative drop off location at the front desk of the ESC building, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm (1500 E 128th Ave, Thornton 80241). Please note the ESC will be closed on May 31.
Please return your student’s Chromebook to us, even if it has been damaged. Most damage can be repaired. We need all Chromebooks back to repair them this summer in order to return them to students in August.
Thank you for your assistance in getting your student's district-provided Chromebooks back to us! If you have any questions, please contact the front office at 720-972-5780.
