Dear Parents and Guardians -
Thank you to all who participated in our annual Family-School Relationships Survey. At CRE we had a 62.9% participation rate, which was the highest in our area - your feedback is invaluable!
As we look at our family survey results, we have the opportunity to compare it with staff and student data from the same survey over the past several years to see feedback trends and themes over time to best meet the needs of our community. The great news is that we have some of the highest scores we have ever received on both the parent and staff surveys!
As we plan ahead to next year, I want to share with you what we found encouraging from this survey and the areas of growth we discovered:
Areas to Celebrate:
1. Very high scores from students regarding student/teacher relationships.
2. Some of the highest scores in the district regarding school climate and relationships between leaders and staff members and families and teachers.
3. Significant increase regarding feedback and coaching for teachers.
Areas of Opportunity:
1. Emotional regulation for students increased but there is more room for growth.
2. Additional support to develop a faculty growth mindset in terms of implementation of new strategies.
3. Students' sense of self-efficacy was on the lower end compared to our overall scores.
We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. These results allow us to continue initiatives you rated high and focus our attention on those areas where we can better serve your child. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We value your input as we strive to improve and meet the needs of all of our students.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mike
