CRE Weekly May22

Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

As we reflect on this school year, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support of our CRE community. From cheering on students at events, volunteering time, partnering with staff, and supporting one another through every challenge and celebration, your involvement has made a lasting impact on our school. The strength of our community is what makes CRE such a special place for kids and adults to learn and grow. Thank you for being such an important part of this journey with us this year, we truly could not do it without you!

Staffing for 26-27

Here is a look at our preliminary staffing at Coyote Ridge for the 2026- 2027 school year. As you know, changes can occur over the summer and any updates will be shared in August just before school starts. Any staffing changes for the 26- 27 school year will be reflected in blue.

Christi Bullock has been the heart of our front office for so many years, greeting every student, staff member, and family with kindness, patience, and care. As our longtime registrar, Christi’s dedication, organization, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on our entire school community. While we will miss her tremendously, we are so grateful for all she has given to Coyote Ridge and wish her endless joy and relaxation in her retirement!

We have some staff members departing on new adventures and they will also be greatly missed. Best wishes to Erika Cowan, Erin Sanders, Felicity Chilleo, Charlie Loehr and Shannon Stewart. Thank you for all you have done for the CRE community!

Field Day Pivot

While Tuesday’s weather may have forced us to pivot from our traditional Field Day plans, the fun and energy never stopped at Coyote Ridge. From creative in-classroom Field Day activities to high-energy dance parties in the gym, our students still had a great day together. I am always so appreciative of the way our teachers and staff adapt with positivity, flexibility, and a focus on making the best experience possible for kids. Extra special thanks to the Specials team!

5th Grade Continuation

On Wednesday, we honored the Coyote Ridge Class of 2026 at 5th Grade Continuation. It was a joyful and emotional opportunity to reflect on the growth, perseverance, leadership, and memories this special group of students has brought to our school community over the years. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see the amazing things they will do in middle school and beyond. While it is hard to say goodbye, we know they are leaving Coyote Ridge ready to take on their next adventure with confidence and kindness. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Student of the Month

Congratulations to our May Students of the Month! Thank you for being positive role models and for representing Coyote Ridge so well each and every day. Keep up the amazing work, we are proud of you!

Second Semester Perfect Attendance

Congratulations to all of our students who earned Perfect Attendance for the second semester!

Last Day Picnic

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO and parents who helped make our annual Last Day Picnic such a wonderful success. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and support that went into creating a fun and memorable way to celebrate the end of another incredible school year. There is something so special about coming together as a school community to laugh, connect, and celebrate all we have accomplished. We truly love ending the year together and appreciate everyone who helped make it such a meaningful tradition for our students and families.

MAPS Growth EOY Celebrations

A huge shoutout to all of our 1st–5th graders, and our kinders who just take the math MAP assessment, for the incredible effort they put into completing the End-of-Year MAP assessments in reading and math! We are so proud to share that we met our growth goals in 10 out of 11 indicators: such an impressive accomplishment, especially with such a high achieving student population. This success reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the strong support from families all year long. Watching our students continue to grow, persevere, and achieve at such high levels is something worth celebrating!

Have a wonderful summer!!!!!!!

In gratitude,

Carolyn Webb, Coyote Ridge Principal
