Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

It’s been a great week to be a Coyote! 

We are excited for Monday, when all CRE students will take part in our Mwebaza Cross-Cultural Day! Students at St. Paul’s School in Uganda and Coyote Ridge will engage in shared learning experiences that continue to strengthen and grow our partnership.

Spring Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on February 19th and 24th. Teachers will be sending out a SignUpGenius later today or very soon to schedule conference times. As a reminder, we offer one conference per family to ensure we are able to meet with all families. We strongly encourage families to attend conferences in person at school, and virtual conferences will only be available in extenuating circumstances.

Local School Partnership

We are excited to share a new local school partnership with McElwain Elementary! Together, our schools are creating a shared literacy experience for students, while also supporting McElwain by refreshing their outdated school and classroom libraries through a book drive. We are so grateful for this opportunity to learn alongside and support one another. Be on the lookout for more information from our PTO on how you can donate a book. Donation opportunities will also be available at the Glow Dance (February 13th) and the Book Fair (during Spring Conferences).

Reminder: Parent/PTO/Principal Connect | January 27

Please join us for our Parent/PTO/Principal Connect Meeting on Monday, January 27 from 8:30–9:30 a.m. This month, we are excited to welcome Hailey from Children’s Pediatric Mental Health Institute, along with Dr. Lauren Henry, Children’s psychologist. They will share insights on stress and anxiety, how it can show up in children, why kids may experience after-school meltdowns, and practical strategies parents can try at home. We hope you can join us for this important and informative conversation!

Reminder: Kinder Hour! On January 30

We are excited to host an in-person kindergarten event “Kinder Hour” during the school day for all families interested in Coyote Ridge Kindergarten. All families are welcome, whether or not you participated in the Adams 12 Choice process. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our kindergarten program and experience Coyote Ridge in action.
