Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

It’s been a great week to be a Coyote!

26-27 School Year- please read!

It is imperative that families let us know as soon as possible if your student will be returning to Coyote Ridge Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. Accurate enrollment numbers are critical for our ability to effectively plan for staffing, class placements, and student supports. If you have not already done so, please complete the linked intent to return survey, as soon as possible. Your timely response helps us ensure we have the right structures in place to support all students next year.

Boosterthon Kick Off!

We had an incredible Boosterthon kickoff this week! Students and families also enjoyed a special visit from the Legacy Band as we continue working to raise funds to bring a band opportunity to our 4th and 5th graders at Coyote Ridge next school year. The excitement around music and school spirit has been amazing to see. We can’t wait to see our CRE community come together at the Fun Run next Friday! 

World Down Syndrome Day Celebration!

In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, we invite everyone to celebrate by wearing crazy or mismatched socks on Thursday March 19th! This fun tradition represents the uniqueness of each individual and helps spark conversations about inclusion, acceptance, and celebrating differences. We can’t wait to see the creative socks our students and staff choose as we stand together to support and celebrate our friends with Down syndrome.

Fire Safety Visit

This week, Fire Lady Pam visited our 2nd grade classrooms to teach our Coyotes how to handle emergencies. Students practiced dialing 911, distinguishing between “common problems” and real emergencies, and reciting their home addresses and phone numbers to “dispatch.” We love seeing our students gain the confidence to stay safe!

Lions Club Relays will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, 10:00-3:00 p.m. at Five Star Stadium,9360 Washington Street for students in grades 1st-5th grades.

Optional Practice Days/Times: Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday on the  CRE field from 7:00-7:35 am on the following dates:

4/21, 4/23, 4/28, 4/30

**In the case of bad weather practice will be held inside the CRE gymnasium.
