CRE Weekly Newsletter March 21

Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

We’ve had a really exciting week here at CRE! First and foremost, I want to thank our wonderful PTO and community for providing us with so much food and love this week! We had a catered dinner for conferences Thursday night and a beautiful breakfast spread (along with uplifting notes for staff) this morning that was much appreciated as we closed out a really busy week!

 

Boosterthon!

Our Boosterthon Spring Fundraiser has officially begun! If you have not registered your child please do so asap! All students who register will receive a prize. This school year we are raising money for our IXL and Depth and Complexity programming at Coyote Ridge. Our ability to differentiate and provide rigorous learning experiences for our students is what sets us apart from other schools. Please donate to support us in continuing to meet the diverse needs of our students!

 

Mwebaza Day!

Thank you to our Mwebaza partners and our student (and staff) ambassadors for all of the hard work that they put into planning this wonderful event! All students (and many parents) at CRE had the opportunity to engage in a virtual celebration with our sister school, The St. Paul School, in Uganda today. The excitement throughout the school was electric and students learned more about the culture of our friends in Africa. It was such a special celebration!

   

 

World Down Syndrome Day!

Today we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day at CRE! Student leadership organized a sock drive and a mismatched sock spirit day to celebrate the day. Additionally, some parent volunteers came and read to some of our classes to raise awareness about down syndrome and help us to learn more about our classmates and community. Our diverse learning community is what makes CRE so special and we are so thankful to be able to celebrate what makes us unique.

 

Colorado Children’s Chorale performance

This week we were also treated to a performance by the Colorado Children’s Chorale. It was an exciting and engaging experience that captivated our students. During this performance our students were also treated to a sneak peak of one of the songs from our upcoming musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

 

Kindergarten Information Night for our incoming kinders for 25-26

We look forward to welcoming our new kindergarten families to an informational night on Thursday, April 24th @ 4pm at Coyote Ridge. Please spread the word in the neighborhood for any new families. We are notifying families of the informational night when they register, so please encourage anyone you know to go ahead and register for next school year. We can’t wait to welcome our new Coyotes!

 

Honor Choir

The following students have been chosen to participate in the Adams 12 Fifth Grade Honor Choir for 2025!  Congratulations!  These students will rehearse and perform with around 200 Adams 12 Fifth Grade students on Monday, May 10 at 6:00pm.  The performance will be at Horizon High School.  

Congrats to: Chloe Gilmore, Arabella Hughes, Katelyn Mahowald, Seth Schulte, Owen Schulte and Will Tyler!

 

Under the resources tab on our school website is a learning environment form that parents may choose to fill out if there are any extenuating circumstances that you would like us to be aware of as we begin to create class lists for the 25- 26 school year. This form closes on April 4th. Additionally, if you have not filled out your intent to return form for the 25- 26 school year, please do so ASAP. It is imperative that we have accurate information regarding our enrollment numbers as we move into creating the 25- 26 budget for CRE.

Booster Blast

Coyote Ridge Elementary Families!

We are having a great time with the Booster Team on campus! Over $9,000 has already been raised towards our goal of $30,000 for IXL and Depth and Complexity Programs.
