CRE Weekly Newsletter May19

Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

Believe it or not, we have 8 days left of the 24-25 school year! The month of May brings a lot of excitement and fun here at CRE. We hope to see you TONIGHT at our annual Spring Carnival. We will get the fun started here at Coyote Ridge at 6pm and the festivities will go until 8pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Visit from the Colorado Avalanche

This week, members of the Colorado Avalanche organization came to Coyote Ridge to teach an introduction to hockey session to all of our students. It was such an exciting and engaging experience. Thank you to Coach Seifarth for organizing this!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Last week was teacher appreciation week and we could not be more thankful for the incredible week that was provided by our PTO! We were showered with gifts and meals and so much love and appreciation. We love a good theme and we, as always, were so impressed with the fun travel theme- which got us all ready and excited for summer break! Thank you to our wonderful PTO for such a wonderful week!

Golden Paw winners

I want to highlight our Golden Paw winners from March and April! Each month, staff has an opportunity to highlight other staff members for outstanding service to our community. 2-3 winners are selected and PTO congratulates them with an Amazon gift card. Congratulations to Chrisit Bullock (registrar), Paula Gary (office manager), Stephanie Harris (music director), Bridget Keefe (3rd grade) and Deena Pries (ELD)!

Ms. Leva is retiring

We have been very thankful to have Ms. Leva on our CRE team! Ms. Leva has made the decision to retire and we thanked her for her immense contributions to our community this week with a celebration! It was fun to have former Coyotes come back to celebrate with us. We will miss you, Ms. Leva!

In partnership,

Carolyn Webb, Coyote Ridge Principal
