CRE Weekly Newsletter Nov. 22
Post
Dear Coyote Ridge Community, It’s been a fun week at CRE! I saw a lot of superheroes today and a lot of crazy hair yesterday. Thank you to our student leadership for planning our pre-break spirit week!
Student of the Month: Courage This month our teachers were tasked with identifying students who showed an exceptional amount of courage during the month of November. We had so many nominations and we are so proud of our Coyotes who were recognized!
Creatively using technology in the classroom I am always impressed with the ways that our teachers integrate technology into their classrooms in thoughtful and meaningful ways. Today, I spent some time with first graders who were reading aloud the story that they’ve been working on in class. Students were able to use technology to read aloud in a less intimidating way, building their confidence and fluency skills while having a lot of fun too.
5th graders dissected owl pellets in the week! This week, our 5th graders dissected owl pellets as a part of their science unit. At CRE, our teachers work hard to make science interactive and engaging for students, offering experiential learning opportunities as much as possible.
I hope that you all are able to enjoy our break next week with family and friends doing the things that bring you joy. At CRE, we are so grateful that you have entrusted us with educating your children and we all feel so lucky to be a part of the CRE community! We will see you all on Monday, December 2nd!
