Dear Coyote Ridge Community,
It’s been a great week at CRE!
Our 5th Grade Ameritowne Adventure
Today, our 5th graders ventured to Ameritowne at the Young Americans Bank in Denver for our annual mini society experience, a milestone they’ve been eagerly preparing for over the past several weeks. From learning about jobs and finances to collaborating as citizens of their own “town,” students and teachers put an incredible amount of work into getting ready for this big day. We are so proud of their effort, leadership, and enthusiasm as they applied real-world skills in a hands-on, unforgettable way.
Parent Principal Connect + Veteran’s Day Celebration
Thank you to all who joined us for this week’s Parent Principal Connect. We were honored to welcome our guest speaker, Anthony Muck, Adams 12 Director of Safety and Security, who shared valuable insights about district-wide safety practices and protocols.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the parents, grandparents, and family members who visited CRE for our Veteran’s Day lunch celebration. It was a privilege to host and honor the veterans in our community, and our students were so proud to share this special time with those who have served.
Cup Stacking!
Our K–5 students have been hard at work in PE with cup stacking! Students are building coordination and perseverance as they practice their stacking sequences and challenge themselves to improve their speed and accuracy. We can’t wait to celebrate their progress!
Student Leadership Spirit Days + Coyote Pride Assembly next week
Our Student Leadership Team has planned a fun-filled Spirit Week leading up to Thanksgiving Break, complete with a culminating Coyote Pride Assembly on Friday, also led by our student leaders. Each day brings a new theme to celebrate our school spirit and community:
- Monday: Western Day
- Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day
- Wednesday: Minion Day
- Thursday: Places You’ve Been Around the World Day
- Friday: Sports Day
We can’t wait to see our Coyotes show off their creativity, school pride, and leadership all week long!
