CRE Weekly Newsletter Sept. 12

Dear Coyote Ridge Community,

 

It’s been an exciting and engaging week at CRE!

 

Parent/Principal/PTO connect

Thank you so much everyone who attended our first parent/principal/pto connect meeting of the school year. In my sixth year at Coyote Ridge, I have never seen so many parents here for a connect meeting, so thank you so much for your engagement. We celebrated our school’s SPF (School Performance Framework) and CMAS scores from the 24-25 school year. Our students showed growth and big gains in our achievement rating. We look forward to continued growth and academic success this school year!

 

 

PBIS @ CRE

Through our PBIS system at Coyote Ridge, students can earn a “Positive Office Referral” from a teacher for showcasing our PACK traits. When a student is nominated, they receive a positive phone call home from administration. We have been making a lot of positive phone calls home lately and are so proud of our Coyotes!

 

 

Student Led Clubs

Beginning this month, we will start many new student led clubs for the school year. I have had a lot of students reach out to me to schedule meetings to present their ideas for student interest clubs. I have been very impressed with the leadership displayed by our Coyotes. I am excited to see so many of our new clubs begin soon!

 

 

Building Thinking Classrooms

As we enter our second year of implementation of our Building Thinking Classrooms model, we are so impressed with the collaboration and sharing of ideas flourishing across the school. Students are engaged in their learning and learning from each other everyday. Go Coyotes!

 

  

 

GT testing

If you would like for your child to be assessed for GT identification this school year, please complete this form before September 23rd. All of our 2nd graders have already been screened through our universal screening process.

Broomfield Days Parade

One of our most anticipated community events is coming up! Next weekend, on Saturday, September 20th- we would love to have you join us walk with the Coyote Ridge float in the Broomfield Days parade! Be looking for specific information from our PTO as to how you can get even more involved when preparing for the big event!

Mwebaza Club
