May Newsletter 2024
Post
Dear Parents and Guardians -
As I sit down to write this newsletter, it is hard to believe that we have just 17 days of school remaining in the 2023-2024 school year. Overall it has been a terrific year with many accomplishments and points of pride.
Personally, I am experiencing moments of joy and sadness as my time at Coyote Ridge Elementary comes to a close. I leave knowing that the school is in very capable hands with Mrs. Webb taking over as the new principal, and that as a school community we are in a good place. We have numerous systems set up that ensure every student at our school is having their needs met both academically and socially/emotionally.
We also have formed strong partnerships with the parents of students that result in a collaborative and supportive approach to education. Our PTO is another aspect of that partnership that results in amazing school events and support of our teachers and staff on a daily basis.
Looking back on my nine years as principal at Coyote Ridge, I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the school community and to have been a part of something very special. I have many fond memories of being here that I will always cherish. I wish all of you an enjoyable summer and a great start to the new year.
In gratitude,
Dr. Mike
