Our Principal
Welcome to Coyote Ridge!
My name is Carolyn Webb, and I am excited to introduce myself as the principal of Coyote Ridge Elementary. With 20 years of experience in education, I bring a passion for elementary education and a commitment to fostering a rigorous, responsive and supportive learning environment where all students can feel joy and success.
Originally from New York, I grew up in Georgia and have called Colorado home since 2010. My journey as an educator has been shaped by diverse experiences and a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education.
At Coyote Ridge, we cultivate a community of globally minded, critical thinkers, preparing students for an ever-evolving world. Our Building Thinking Classrooms model immerses students in collaborative, rigorous tasks that enhance their teamwork and problem-solving skills daily. Through our grant-funded sustainability program, students adopt a mindset focused on environmental stewardship, engaging in composting and zero-waste practices.
We nurture leadership through our peer mentorship program, student-led morning announcements, and student led clubs. Our partnership with the Mwebaza Foundation connects us with our sister school in Uganda, fostering global awareness and impact. In our cutting-edge Makerspace, students explore open-ended challenges with access to 3D printers and robots, developing inquiry-based thinking and problem-solving skills.
Our students are encouraged to embody our PACK traits—Perseverance, Accountability, Courage, and Kindness—integrating these values into their daily lives. Students also consistently achieve academic excellence, with performance levels in both literacy and math exceeding the 95th percentile when compared to other schools in Colorado.
