Visitors/Volunteers

School Security System - In our ongoing efforts to provide the safest and most secure environment for our students, an additional security measure have been installed, which requires the following safety measures.

● ALL exterior doors will be locked at all times.

● Please do not open the door or hold the door open for others even if it is someone you know.

● You do not need to come into the building to drop off/pick up your child.  Sign your child in or out in the vestibule and press the button located on the brick wall to notify the office.

● In order to enter the building, you will need to sign in on the visitor computer and press the button located on the brick wall inside the front vestibule. An office member will release the doors, allowing access to the building. Do not allow anyone else into the building with you. Remember to pick up your visitor badge at the office.

● If you are a new visitor/volunteer, press the button located on the brick wall inside the front vestibule and an office member will respond. District Policy requires that all parents and visitors must present a physical drivers license/I.D. at the front desk and sign in at the office upon entering the building. Your license will be scanned through our Raptor system and a visitor’s badge/sticker will be provided. You will be asked to wear a visitor’s badge/sticker at all times.

● Respect our students and staff privacy by making sure that before and after your volunteering commitment or meeting (conference, PTO, etc.) you do not interrupt other learning environments.

● If you would like to volunteer you will need to complete a volunteer packet located in the office prior. Classroom and field trip volunteers will be set up with the teacher prior.

● Restrooms are not available to the public during school hours.

● If anyone other than a parent or legal guardian will be visiting the school (such as a grandparent coming for lunch) you must notify the office.
