
Dr. Echevarria is excited to be Coyote Ridge's English Language Development teacher. She is an Adams 12 graduate, attending kindergarten-12th grade within the district, graduating from Northglenn High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She received a Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum with an emphasis in Bilingual/ESL Education at the University of Colorado at Denver. She graduated in May 2020 with a Doctorate degree in Leadership for Educational Equity while researching Gifted and Talented populations that are also English Language Learners. Dr. Echevarria has also taught third and fourth grade, gifted and talented education, and technology. She began teaching English Language Development in 2005 at Cotton Creek Elementary and transitioned to Coyote Ridge in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her two children, Rhianna, age 16 and Clayton, age 9. She is a Girl Scout leader and loves to be outdoors, especially camping, hiking, biking and gardening.
