Dr. Echevarria is excited to be Coyote Ridge's English Language Development teacher. She is an Adams 12 graduate, attending kindergarten-12th grade within the district. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She received a Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum with an emphasis in Bilingual/ESL Education at the University of Colorado at Denver. Her Doctoral Dissertation was conferred in March 2020 and she currently holds a Doctorate degree in Leadership for Educational Equity. Denine has also taught third and fourth grade, as well as technology. She began teaching English Language Development in 2005 at Cotton Creek Elementary and transitioned to Coyote Ridge in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her two children, Rhianna, age 15 and Clayton, age 9. She is a Girl Scout leader and loves to be outdoors, especially camping, hiking, biking and gardening.
