This is Renée (Cebra) Schnurbusch's fourth year at Coyote Ridge as well as her fourth year in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district. Renée grew up in the suburbs of Boston and ventured out to Colorado to attend CU Boulder, graduating in 2009 with a degree in Sociology. Upon graduation, she returned back to Massachusetts where she pursued her Master's degree in Elementary Education at Northeastern University. Renée taught 4 years of 5th grade in a co-taught classroom and one year in 3rd grade in Newton, Massachusetts. She decided to follow her heart back out to Colorado in 2017 and has been at Coyote Ridge since! Renée taught 5th grade at CRE for two years before changing roles to the Social-Emotional Learning Specialist in 2019. She has always had a strong passion for Social-Emotional Learning and worked on various district and school-based leadership teams to help implement SEL initiatives across her previous district. Renée enjoys being back in Colorado and all that it has to offer. In her free time, she loves skiing, working in her garden and taking her Standard Goldendoodle (Bixby) hiking.
