
Sean is honored to serve as the Physical Education Specialist at Coyote Ridge Elementary! He is originally from California, where he received a B.A. in Psychology and American History with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He went on to receive a Masters in Education from Chapman University. He began teaching as a K-12 substitute and midyear was hired as a middle school teacher at the school he attended as a child. Sean spent five years at a non-profit child and adolescent residential treatment non-public school where he served as a middle & high school special education teacher, prevention education program manager, and assistant director of education. In 2006, Sean moved to Colorado, where he began working for Adams 12. In his time at Adams 12, he has worked as an affective needs teacher, math interventionist, instructional coach, data analyst, 6th grade math teacher, social emotional learning specialist and physical education specialist.
When not working he loves spending time with his wife and two kids. Together they enjoy watching and playing sports, taking family bike rides, working in the garden, traveling, and taking advantage of the variety of outdoor activities found in Colorado.
